Taoism Philosopher: Lao Zi

Laozi(Chinese: 老子; pinyin: Lǎozǐ;also Lao TseLao Zi,and other variations) was a philosopher of ancient China and is a central figure in Taoism. Laozi is generally considered an honorific. Laozi is revered as a god in religious forms of Taoism. Taishang Laojun is a title for Laozi in the Taoist religion, which refers to him as "One of the Three Pure Ones".

According to Chinese tradition, Laozi lived in the 6th century BC. Historians variously contend that Laozi is a synthesis of multiple historical figures, that he is a mythical figure, or that he actually lived in the 4th century BC, concurrent with the Hundred Schools of Thought and Warring States Period. A central figure in Chinese culture, both nobility and common people claim Laozi in their lineage. Zhuangzi, widely considered the intellectual and spiritual successor of Laozi, had a notable impact on Chinese literature, culture and spirituality. Throughout history, Laozi's work was embraced by various anti-authoritarian movements.

Taoist Wang Liping

Wang Liping, (simplified Chinese: 王力平 ), Taoism name of Wang Yongsheng，born in 1949. Master Wang Liping is 18th generation Transmitter of the Dragon Gate Taoism 龙门派 branch of Complete Reality Taoism(Quanzhen School 全真派).

Introduction

Master Wang Liping was trained by 3 Taoism hermits, named Zhang Hedao--Dragon Gate Taoism 16th Transmitter, Wang Jiao Ming and Jia Jiaoyi --Dragon Gate Taoism 17th transmitters, who lived in Mount Lao of Shandong Province. Master Wang Liping currently lives in Mainland China. Recent years, he has been known as Modern Taoisist (see the book of <Opening the Dragon Gate: The Making of a Modern Taoist〉translated by Thomas Cleary Turtle Publisher & Free google book). The Chinese version of <Opening the Dragon Gate: The Making of a Modern Taoist〉is named <Da Dao Xing>, which describes the process of his training. By using contemporary languages, Master Wang teaches people parts of <Ling Bao Bi Fa> which is a book about Internal alchemy arts written by Zhongli Quan in Han Dynasty. The art of Master Wang's teaching were called"Internal alchemy of Ling Bao Intelligence Enlightenment". Another book named <Xing Da Dao> (means "Training forUniversal Tao") was published in mainland China. In this book, the Master Wang's 20 years teaching philosophy and practices were recorded.

Reported by reference 1, China pre-president Jiang Zemin had recommended Master Wang Liping to Russian pre-president Boris Yeltsin for disease treatment (referece 1 ).

Master Wang Liping taught Taoists and Taoism practitioners Internal alchemy at Lou Guan Temple in 1998 ( reference 6 ).
In 2007, Master Wang Liping taught Taoists and Taoism practitioners Internal alchemy at Yu Chan Temple of Hainan province.
In 2007, eight Europeans were trained by Master Wang Liping for Internal alchemy practicing based on <the Secret of the Golden Flower > , the report was published in 《contemporary Academic Research 》 (reference 8 ).
In 2008, Master Wang Liping taught Taoists and Taoism practitioners Internal alchemy at Jinhua Immortal Huang birth Palace of Zhejiang province.

Brief introduction of Dr. Kathy Li:

Kathy is an authorized Daoism internal alchemy teacher. She learned and followed Master Wang Liping when she was a graduate student in the University 20 years ago. Kathy had been called by Master Wang as his “little friend” before her son was born more than decade ago. Now, in master Wang’s website, Master Wang’s little friend is replaced by a more little one --- Kathy’s son.

Kathy maybe is the only female holding highest academy degree among Masters Wang’s followers. Kathy had been invited to attend conferences and had conversation with professor Zhu Chen, who currently is China Minister of Health , Foreign associate member of National Academy of US and a loyal supporter for Traditional Chinese Medicine .

Combined her knowledgeable contemporary biomedicine and Daoism inner alchemy sciences, Kathy will share with you her deep view of the truth of the nature and life.
